ACADEMIC SYMPOSIUM

SAUT – ACADEMIC SYMPOSIUM 10 / 12 / 2016, 1: 30 PM
Questions to the respondents on Abroad studies and its challenges
Why do people prefer to study abroad? What are the reasons behind abroad studies?
Does there any differences in terms qualities of education between those who study abroad over those who study within the mother countries like Tanzania, if yes  or no how, why and what makes such differences ?
At the beginning I believed that the one who study abroad all receive better education and are able to make some discoveries, but unfortunately I felt under partial contradictions as many of these scholar they back home after home after studies and mostly of them does not able to discover anything Why so, while Israeli, US, Singapore, Philippines and Malaysians, and Chinese scholars …make some discover?, then what, where, when such mistakes made and by whom? Then what should we do to solve this?
What are possible beneficial of studying abroad to society, country, families, and thousand generations to come? How, why, and when?
Contributions to the second presenter
Responding to the question posed to me: who is a graduate student, and what is future?
WHO IS A GRADUATE STUDENT
Actually there is no a uniform answer to respond this question, basing on my understanding the following are some possible answers;
A graduate is the one who know whom I am, roles and who know the societal needs
A graduate is scholar who graduates from various universities and who are capable to think beyond the box, and the walls. Why so, because reasoning begin after fertilization of the inborn zygote and every species born with knowledge, and reasoning end if one die, no limit and limit is peoples` perceptions
A graduate is a research person. One who follow up researches until death, argue basing on research, facts and evidences and not annoyance one, defense mechanism, and arrogance
Is a role model to himself and his society, the one who think, predict and who do medications and innovations for  present and next thousands generation to come, non corrupt and not job defense but job creators, objectively person, “No fear but confident, respect, listener and understanding person”
Then, Who I am?
I am a graduate, scholar, and “in narrow sense I am Masunga Ndamo”
I am a professional teacher, Ecologist, environmentalist, Opportunities` creator, saver of next generations, an innovator, a gift to this world, and am a researcher. My talents: researcher, ecologist and all its components, teaching, Author, Leader, talent opener, guider and counselor, designer, planner, few to mention and my life is guided by my principles, and my philosophy called the NATURE IS THE CENTER OF DISCOVERING what man should do is to use his talents to utilizes the potential found within, how is because man`s 1st capital is the skill that have. My formula for successes is called Ma = V + F+T + Mz. I am writing several books.
My Dream is to have the largest organizations that will teach Ecology: an integrated approach, and it will be called “TODAY`S ECOLOGY: An integrated Approach” this will produce many experts who will save generations and generations, our country currently have few such experts and normally we borrow out sides, those who are present some are lazy, they don’t want to research only think on salaries than the society, animals, rocks, and other species.
God help me to reach my dream for the benefits of generations to come
Suggestions
My suggestions divided into the following area in order to solve the challenges facing both Study Abroad and within our countries, challenges related to graduates, and what is future
Part 1.THE UNIVERSITIES OWNERS AND RUNNERS
Ø  To establish a board / department / section which will deal with exploring talents from among learners, and career choices and grow such career , rather than combining into heads of subject department to care young authors, but what about technologies, and other extra skills that leaner have. Initiating a creative house within the campus ( this is the house with full of requirements such as WIFE, Computers, and should be away from noise, and other pollutants; then allow some leaner innovators, designers, thinkers into in to formulate what types of societies, economy, national philosophy, education in all level, religion, and let them write reports, researches, books, and contributes on curriculum and police matters that will guide the an individual, society, national, world, and thousand – millenniums  generations to come) such persons will make vision, mission, and focus forward
Ø  To add values of our graduates, our universities, our education, and personality every day because the world is changing days after day. How? This will be possible by considering the following two keys
                                ·         Formal education by initiating new courses like computer short courses for all students …. Compulsory, ethics, entrepreneurship compulsory so as to be up with world market fluctuations
                                ·         Informal education: how by calling many seminars from various scholars, experts regardless their university levels but only basing on their unique potentials and all learners should attend and later on students should re do, write reports about the new knowledge gained,
compete practically for example if a seminar was about how to make a bread, software, hardware, songs, decorates, designs, … this can be done in workshops and been certified to everyone, and graded into their G.P.A. marks, why so as to reduce relaying only on books because we many sources of knowledge, and will help tom processes their attitudes, knowledge, values and deeper their understanding. This will change the MIND SET OF GRADUATES from inbox to out box or beyond, not depend on Government but to think how they are going to save the generations, what should do for their national…
Both formal and informal education should walk parallel to influence the changes
Ø  A lot of research competitions
Ø  Talents tournaments across  within, and our branches, and other universities , and external ones such as EAC members
It is better to have many goods produced, discovered by our graduates in the street (breads, clothes, software  hardware shoes, crops, real experts – theories and principles rather than maintaining past principles which does not function today, and even are functioning but we do not know on how to path through as a result we only claiming and end up with witnessing what others do) why because the  Government, NGOs, and other Companies will follow goods, will pay taxes to our country, and such challenges will trigger on new discovering while searching for solutions
Part 2, THE GRADUATES
Ø  Should think beyond the box, any limit
Ø  Should change our mind set from dependent, to independent thinkers, job creators, flexible, and multifunction one ( people with many skills who will compete the dynamics in the world)
Ø  Add their values. For example, (if ones is a hostellers should add some attracting  - additional things to capture consumer ~ without raising price but graded within,  should have speaking skills, dressing codes in his specializations, attends many seminars and workshops and take it with full hand
Ø  Know their talents (I believes that every one of us haves many talents which are shaped by surroundings and types of society and friends has) but do did we ever think about this and if yes then how extents we use our talents? if no why ) therefore now it is a time to know , respect, practice it, put forward, never give – up)
Ø  Should not be limited by what they study at various levels because some had been forced by the governmental system  to such programs, what I know is that one can learnt BAED but be singers, planners, administrators, lawyer, businessmen or businesswomen, entrepreneurship, soccer, ecologist, environmentalist, botanist, meteorologist few to mention. What to consider is just your talents and careers
Ø  Should be objective thinkers. INITIATES OTHERS WILL FOLLOW YOUR
Ø  Commitment persons
Ø  The one who can think and see far than what we think now, have a bigger bream not small because if you think little you will do little
Ø  Volunteers in works then demand certificates for such skills.
Ø  Ideal rise from simple thoughts to complex one [one my think, dream to have a desk then later on practice by finding trees and make the dreamed desk – complex or scientific physical materials that benefits the society, a dream to make a phone, car, plane then it become if one respect his thoughts, and the nature is there as a center of innovation. That is what masunga believing
Part:3. SAUT – COMMUNITIES
These includes: SAUTSO, SEMA Saut, PCCP Saut, ISSEC Saut, UN – YOUTH SAUT, UNEP Saut…
If these communities if are used properly have greater roles to changes life, and mindset of members, grow up professionalism, commitments
How? Through inviting experts on their fields, and outside their fields’ entrepreneurship, workshops, practical works  and this should not depends everything from university support but only organizing their members on it and produce certificates to the members while focusing their core targets
Conclusion, By gathering the roles of university owner, runners, individuals, and communities I hope most problems such as language barriers, technological disabilities,  mindsets, confident, multi functions will be solved in greater extents
I hope by doing these things other universities will follow us
